Donation to the RFDS
The Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) of Australia is a charitable organisation providing a vital and dedicated service for rural and remote Australia. Funds are provided by the Commonwealth and State Governments, however the Service must independently fund the repair, maintenance and replacement of its entire aircraft fleet and relies on donations to enable the RFDS to continue providing quality health care and emergency retrieval assistance to those living, working or travelling through rural and remote Australia.
Funds raised also go towards updating or purchasing necessary medical equipment. The RFDS relies on donations to keep its aircraft fleet operational and keep the service running. Every dollar is appreciated and your support saves lives.
Donations are given for many reasons including donations being made in lieu of gifts for special occasions such as Birthdays, Weddings, Christenings or in memory of loved ones. Please let us know if you have a special request. Your gift recipient can then receive, with your permission, a personalized letter from the Flying Doctor Service advising them a donation has been given, made by you on their behalf.
Donations $2.00 or more to the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) of Australia are tax deductible for income tax purposes. A receipt will be issued to you along with our thanks to let you know we truly appreciate your donation.

- Contact our office on 1800 467 435 to make a donation over the telephone or request a donation form be sent to you.
- Direct debit – obtain information by telephoning 1800 467 435.
- Print the Donation form - fill out the form and fax or post it to us or send us your form details in an email.
