RFDS medical officers provide a comprehensive general practice service and are able to provide or facilitate all aspects of primary medical care. Medical officers are all experienced in providing health services in a rural and remote setting and many have special interests and skills in general practice.
Medical officers work closely with local health professionals, as well as visiting health services to ensure patients receive appropriate and high quality health care.
