The Royal Flying Doctor Service provides vital services across Australia.
The Royal Flying Doctor Service is a not for profit organisation delivering a variety of health services free of charge to those living, working or travelling throughout rural, remote and coastal areas of Australia.
RFDS health services focus on three main service types:

Remote medical consultations and medical chests
- Aero-medical retrievals and inter-facility transfers
- Primary health care services

HEALTH CONNECTIONS
The Royal Flying Doctor Service established a Consumer Network Group at RFDS Central Operations specifically to provide a forum
for rural and remote people to raise issues and concerns with regard to the provision of health services within their communities. One of the major needs highlighted was to improve the access to information on specific health
issues impacting on those living remotely.
